The recipe is from イタリアのお菓子 (Italian Desserts) published by Daiso. The black/dark brown stuff between the filling and the shell is chocolate. Well, the tart shell was actually made for some other purpose...

The Chewy
I felt a sudden urge to bake chocolate chip cookies... The recipe is from Good Eats with Alton Brown whom I loooove *blush*
A meal-sized, big cookie because of the #14 disher that I used (bigger than #20 that's specified on the recipe).
I was looking for a good recipe for soft and moist cookies like Fujiya's Country Ma'am, and I think I found the winner :)

Birthday Cake ver. 2.1
What I don't like about this cake:
- Inconsistency of top border.
- Use of different colours on top (mocha/choco) and bottom (plain) borders.
What I like about this cake:
- Daisies.
- mocha flavour/aroma! ;)
